Warrington's Matty Blythe on year long loan to Bradford
Matty Blythe has agreed a one-year loan agreement for 2013 with Super League side Bradford Bulls.
As a SquadBuilder supported player he has developed through the Wolves' ranks whilst also gaining some experience away from the club on dual registration with Leigh Centurions over recent seasons. Last year saw him make 22 first team appearances and he followed this up with 18 this season whilst also making his mark on the under 20s side playing in the Valvoline Cup Grand Final winning side last month.
This loan spell will provide Matty with the opportunity to develop his game in the top-flight on a more regular basis.
Matty said: "I'm really looking forward to it. I met with Franny Cummins a couple of weeks ago and he sold it to me straight away. I need to be playing every week because I'm not getting any younger. With the side we've got at Warrington, it was pretty hard to string a few games together. I'm looking forward to being a part of things next year at Bradford and hopefully starting regularly. I can obviously play in the forwards but I see centre as my best position and that's where I'd like to establish myself. Being able to play a number of positions should help Bradford next year."
Matty will remain a Warrington Wolves player with a contract already in place for the 2014 season.
All at the Warrington club would like to wish Matty all the best for his time at Bradford.
