Police are appealing for information about a man from Skelmersdale who was not made contact with his family for almost a week.
Stephen Skelly, who is sometimes called by his nickname, Gregg, has not made contact with any of his friends or family since leaving his girlfriend’s home address in Lathom, Ormskirk last Sunday afternoon (30th September) at 3pm and police and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
44-year-old Mr Skelly is described as white, of slim build and around six feet two inches tall. He has shoulder length black hair that he often wears in a ponytail and a beard. He has access to a vehicle which is a blue Volkswagen Transporter van with the registration number C441 YKE.
Sgt Craig Appleton said, "It is out of character for Stephen to go missing and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
"We also believe that Mr Skelly may need medication that he may not have with him so we would appeal to anyone who thinks they may have seen him or his vehicle to contact police as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information can contact police immediately by calling 101.
