Sometime between 5pm on Tuesday 24 January 2012 and 7am the following day, unknown offenders broke into a cabin on a building site on Bolton Road, Atherton near to Railway Bridge.

Three mobile phones and six rail detonators, which are bright yellow, were stolen.

Police Constable Paul Berry, said: "In the wrong hands these detonators can be dangerous and I would urge whoever has them to give them up.

"I would also ask for anyone with information about the theft or those responsible to call me.”
