Wigan Olympic torch route announced

Full schedule for May 31st

Wigan's Olympic Torch route has been confirmed for May 31st....

It will start on Warrington Road in Abram just before 4 o clock - then will head to Darlington Street, River Way, Caroline Street, Wallgate, Library Street, Rodney Street and Millgate.

Then it heads into Scholes, and on to Schofield Lane, Birkett Bank, ,Manchester Road and Ashton Street then on to Caroline Street and Rosebridge Hig School in Ince.

In Hindley it will pass through Atherton Road, Cross Street, Market Street, bridge Street, Danes Avenue, Hindley Mill Lane and finally Castle Hill Road to Castle Hill Park.
