MacLeod, 25, has penned a one-year deal at the DW Stadium after four years with Brentford.
Wigan Athletic have confirmed that former Rangers and Brentford midfielder Lewis MacLeod has signed a one-year deal at the DW Stadium.
MacLeod, 25, left Griffin Park after four years with the Bees this summer, having scored three goals in 18 appearances for the West London club last season.
A former Scotland youth international, who has won over 30 caps, MacLeod began his career with Rangers, helping the club’s rise back to the Scottish Premiership between 2012 and 2015.
Brentford paid over £1million for his services that summer but injuries disrupted his first two campaigns at Griffin Park, before he featured more over the past three campaigns.
The Wishaw-born midfielder has 20 goals and 21 assists in his 119 career games to date.
