Latics Going for the Win

Gary Caldwell says he's not going to hold back in a game that could go a long way in deciding the League One Title.

Wigan Athletic travel to Burton hoping to gain a win that could give them one finger of the League One Championship.

If Latics win then they could the claim the title on Saturday at home against Southend.

Wigan though lost there 20 games unbeaten run on Saturday, suffering a fight back from relegation threatened Doncaster.

Gary Caldwell says they have to get back to basics,

"You have have to simple well in football - The Basics; tracking runners, winning second balls, being competitive. If you don't do that you're not going to win any game.

"Too many people were poor they took too many took many touches dribbling with the ball.

"So we have to get back to doing what we've done all season."

Even a draw for Latics would leave them a strong position to claim the title, however Caldwell says their approach will not change,

"People who have watched our team have seen that we trying to go out and win every game.

"Tuesday will be no different, we'll go out and play on the front, we'll try and control the game with the ball as we have done all season, and try and attack and score goals."
