An Atherton mum whose brave battle with cancer inspired the public - and comedian Peter Kay - to donate hundreds of thousands of pounds to pay for her treatment's died.
The cash raised allowed 37 year old Polly Haydock to have experimental treatment in Germany.
The news was announced on the Twitter account and website of Polly's Angels, a cancer support charity set up in Polly's name:
"It is with great sadness that I feel I need inform everybody that supports us that Polly died on 8th August 2017. She was 37 years old and fought to the very end. She will be missed by so many who's hearts she touched. Polly's Angels will continue to work to ensure that Polly is Remembered. She was an absolute inspiration to many. She sang so sweetly and was a fantastic Thespian. Rest in Peace Polly Haydock."
