Second Person Dies Following East Lancs Road Crash

Merseyside Police have confirmed a second person has died in a crash on the East Lancs Road which claimed the life of a woman last month.

The 51-year-old male taxi driver, died on Wednesday, 13 March in hospital.

35-year-old Michelle Jennings, who was a passenger in a taxi that was struck in Croxteth was also killed.

A 26-year-old man from St Helens arrested in connection with this collision was released under investigation and enquiries are on-going.
