Thousands Of Pounds Has Been Raised For Funeral Of Wigan Toddler

14-month-old Hollie Ashurst passed away from head injuries earlier this month.

Friends of the infants mum have set up the fund to help with costs at this devastating time.

The page reads: "This page has been set up by friends to support a grieving mother and family in such a difficult time. That have lost this little girl at such a young age in such horrific circumstances. So the family can receive contributions to give this little girl a send of she deserves, true princess style. RIP Hollie Ashurt. Aka Hollie Dollie."

Leanne's friends set out to raise £1,500 but the target has surpassed that and stands at £2,280.

Friends, family and even strangers have donated to help ease the costs of Hollies funeral.

"Don't know you personally but know how heartbroken you must feel as I have a little girl myself. Your little girl is beautiful, so sorry for your loss, sending love to you xx"

"With love to you all at this very sad time. I don’t know you but I can see from photos of Hollie that she is such a beautiful little soul. May her bright light shine on forever 🌟"

"Thinking of you Leanne hunni πŸ’– R.I.P Beautiful Hollie πŸ’•πŸ‘Ό Fly high little angel πŸ‘ΌπŸ’•Xxx"

Hollie's dad, Daniel Ashurst, 32, from Fleming Court in Shevington has been charged with her murder and will go on trial in December.
