Thug Injures Man With Baseball Bat At Hindley Train Station

A man armed with a baseball bat smashed a train window injuring a member of staff

The incident happened at 12.30pm on 3 May – when two males became embroiled in an altercation with a member of staff on the station platform.

During the incident, one of the males produced a baseball bat from his jacket, and smashed the cab window of a train. This injured the member of staff and caused him a great deal of distress. 

The male who used a baseball bat is described as being white, aged between 18 and 23, slim build and around 6ft. He was clean shaven with acne scars on his face and light coloured short hair. He was wearing a dark jacket and dark trousers. 

The other male is described as being white, aged between 18 and 23 and approximately 6ft. He had a slim/average build, with short, dark, scruffy hair and a dark beard (about 1 inch long). He was wearing dark trousers and a dark parka-style jacket with a fur hood.
